Ford Street Publishing has now launched their new speakers' agency.
Creative Net has been set up to facilitate author and illustrator participation in schools, libraries, conferences and festivals, without the major cost of paying a speakers' agency a huge fee every day. For something completely different, we’re providing our service free.
Our authors and illustrators cover picture books through to young adult fiction.
All our speakers are experienced and receive excellent feedback.
We expect our list to grow exponentially so if there is no one here that you feel is suitable for your event, check us out when you’re next organising an event!

What do Nathan Curnow, Fiona Wright, Alec Patric, Josephine Rowe, Maria Takolander, Anna Krien, Alec Patric, Ryan O'Neill, Karen Hitchcock, Paddy O'Reilly, Louise Darcy and others have in common?
Well, in addition to all of them at some time having featured in SPUNC publications, they’re now all contributors for Black Inc’s Best Austrailan series (stories, essays, and Poetry).
This year’s series promises to be an impressive addition to any book-lover’s bookshelf. Cate Kennedy has taken over the mantle from Delia Falconer for Best Australian Stories, and the other two volumes read like a who’s who of Australian literature.
