Australian Poetry seeks National Administration Assistant [27.10.2010]

australian-poetry-logo-orange-015-300x257 Australian Poetry Ltd is a new organisation about to be launched in 2011 as a merger between the Australian Poetry Centre based in Melbourne and Poets Union based in NSW.

It will be the peak industry body for poetry in this country, based at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne, with a charter to promote and support Australian poets and poetry locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

SEEKING A NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Australian Poetry seeks a part time Administration Assistant. The successful applicant will have a track record that demonstrates the ability to maintain financial records, be a strong team player, manage database and record systems and provide administrative support to diverse projects and activities. The position will be 3-4 days a week to be negotiated and located at the National Office based at the Wheeler Centre, 176 Little Lonsdale Street Melbourne, commencing February 2011.
