EWF to run one-day mini festival in Sydney [30.09.2010]
The Emerging Writers' Festival is very excited to announce that we will be running a one-day mini-EWF festival in Sydney on Sunday 7 November.
Presented in conjunction with the NSW Writers’ Centre, the Emerging Writers’ Festival in Sydney will offer a whole day filled with the fantastic programming that literary audiences have come to expect from us – panels, discussions, Creative Writing Bootcamp, the Pitch, zine fair and networking opportunities galore.
The full program will be announced shortly but we can give you this sneak peek into what we’re planning:
Speed narratives, Emily Maguire, genre is not a dirty word, James Bradley, writing and health, Elmo Keep, blogging, Vanessa Berry, drinks on the balcony, Antony Loewenstein, pop-up zine fair and SO MUCH MORE.
This represents a large step forward for the Emerging Writers' Festival as a national literary organisation, and we thank the NSW Writers' Centre generously for their support and hard work in making this happen.
We look forward to connecting with our interstate partners in NSW in November!
