papertiger media was established in Brisbane, Australia, by poet / editor Paul Hardacre, and graphic designer / visual artist Marissa Newell.
Publishers of the soi 3 books imprint, hutt poetry ezine, anything i like art ezine, and the papertiger: new world poetry CDROM, papertiger media is unique in its vision and dedication to diversity, by publishing in three formats.
Queensland-centric, but with an eye to the international, in 2004 papertiger media opened an Asia office in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to complement the activities of its Brisbane headquarters. 2008 will see papertiger media continue to innovate and expand, with significant new publishing imprints on the way encompassing novels, memoirs, essay collections, chapbooks, and theatre scripts, in addition to more of the best new poetry and contemporary art.
papertiger media is a member of the Australian Publishers Association , and was winner of the 2002 Queensland Writers Centre’s Johnno Award for outstanding contribution to writers and writing in Queensland.
