Rock and Hard Places- 3 copies to give away [05.10.2010]
Unable to decide between being a rock journalist, travel writer or foreign correspondent Andrew Mueller decided to be all three at once. Rock and Hard Places is a retrospective of the frontlines, backstages and assorted sideshows he’s encountered over the past 20 years.

• Tours with Radiohead as they support REM in America
• Watches The Prodigy get political in Lebanon
• Grapples with Anzac Day in Gallipoli
• Jets the globe with U2
• Tunes into the music scene in bombed‐out Sarajevo
• Gets up close with the celebrity of The Cure
• Explores the Hungry Heartland of Bruce Springsteen
• Watches Def Leppard play in a Moroccan cave
• Glimpses the end of the world at Woodstock II
• Chases ambulances with Moscow TV’s Highway Patrol.
Andrew Mueller is appearing at the Wheeler Centre, this Thursday October 7 from 12.45pm to 1.15pm. The session is free, and no bookings are required, so come along and soak up some Mueller magic. More information is available here.
