Speculative Podcasts Volume Two: Terra Incognita [14.05.2010]

Speculative fiction fans, you owe me a beer. Or maybe I owe these podcasters a beer…it’s all a bit confusing.
As if Galactic Suburbia wasn’t enough to satisfy even the most hungry spec-fiction fan, I have been alerted to the presence of Terra Incognita Speculative Fiction (TISF). This podcast brings you both the best Australian Speculative Fiction read by the authors and reviews from Keith Stevenson from Couer De Lion publishing, and is released monthly.
I really enjoyed this podcast. I’m not traditionally a huge speculative fiction fan, but podcasting a story now really appeals to me, while also bypassing my traditional excuse of “not having enough time to read”. Perhaps they’ll convert me to TISF one story at a time?

Terra Incognita has recently been shortlisted for the 2010 Parsec Awards for podcasts and podiobooks. The awards will be presented at the Dragon*Con convention held in September in Atlanta, Georgia, and I wish them luck. In the meantime, if you fancy a story or two, head down to TISF and take in some of the best speculative fiction writers you’ve yet to discover.
